As the Golden State Warriors continue to pursue a record-setting regular season (69-9 as of April 6), ESPN has added the Warriors vs. Memphis Grizzlies game on Saturday, April 9, at 8 p.m. ET to its schedule. The telecast is part of a significant night of live event programming across ESPN platforms.
In addition to the Warriors vs. Grizzlies game on ESPN, the Chicago Bulls, who are fighting for a playoff spot, will host the Eastern Conference-leading Cleveland Cavaliers in the season finale of NBA Saturday Primetime on ABC presented by La Quinta at 8:30 p.m. NBA Countdown, hosted by Sage Steele with analysts Doug Collins and Jalen Rose, will precede the game at 8 p.m. on ABC.
Game commentators
Mike Breen, analysts Jeff Van Gundy and Mark Jackson, and reporter Doris Burke will call the Warriors vs. Grizzlies telecast, while Mike Tirico and Basketball Hall of Famer Hubie Brown will provide commentary for the Cavaliers vs. Bulls telecast.
In addition to both NBA games on Saturday night, ESPN will also televise the 2016 Frozen Four National Championship, now airing on ESPN2. John Buccigross and Barry Melrose will call the action, with Quint Kessenich reporting from between the benches and Victoria Arlen providing features on the participating teams and players.
